July 16 – We took Randy to Jean Talon Market this morning then walked to Jarry Park but Gabe was not interested in swimming because he has decided he does not like life guards (who represent rules). It was very hot so we took the metro over to the Plateau for lunch at Schwartzes. Yummm, more smoked meat. On the way we had to stop to say hi to Lord Vader. No more pics today – I had forgotten the memory card in the computer. This one comes via Randy’s smart phone. We took a looong afternoon break to cool down and nap. In the evening we walked to Old Port to take in some of the historic scenery. We ended our evening/night with a pic-nick dinner in the square in front of the Montreal version of Notre Dame (a replica of Paris) – the evening breeze and the couple playing classical guitar across the square made for a magical evening. Thanks Montreal for another great memory.
